Our Covid Policy:
Regardless of how small your group may number, and how few bedrooms you book, once you book Oaks Creek Lodge, we close the remaining bedrooms and do not rent to others outside your group. That means you have the assurance of an isolated environment with no outside exposure. Your small group still gets sole and exclusive use of the entire 59 acre tract, and all amenities.

Oaks Creek Lodge Point: A Private Fishing Destination
Oaks Creek Lodge is named for the State Designated Trout Stream on which it sits. Oaks Creek is an Outflow of Canadarago Lake and is directly adjacent to it. The 59 acre property of Oaks Creek Lodge includes a 3000 foot water frontage and a small island, accessible by boardwalk (see photos below), for which you, the Guest have sole and exclusive use during your stay here at Oaks Creek Lodge. Each Spring, New York State stocks Oaks Creek with 8" - 9" Brown Trout. This is done at the Town of Hartwick. Free use of our 2 onsite Kayaks is included with your rental. You may also bring your own! Either way: float a boat and drop a line!

Our Water Source
As we own our own well, and all of the land surrounding it, we have extensive control over our own water source. Our water is triple filtered to provide the highest quality, cleanest and best tasting water possible. The quantity of water is unlimited with no water restrictions. As there was never any industrialization in the Richfield Springs area, the water is unpolluted.

A Full Size Laundry Room with Washer, Dryer, Utility Sink, Folding Table, 2 levels of Overhead Wall Shelving, Ironing Board & Iron. Washer & Dryer are unlimited use and free. Two Hot Water heaters (see photo) for a total of 120 gallons of hot water. Laundry detergent is not provided.
4 Exterior Clothes Lines for fast Laundry drying.

A Note on Upstate New York Weather
Weather Advisory: The Summer of 2017 was historically stormy and wet! Our lowland woods flooded and did finally drain in August. If you have any questions about the weather and precipitation, please contact us. While walking access to the property was limited, Canadarago Lake was still wonderfull and just adjacent to our property.
Temperatures in Upstate New York have been known to dip down. Bring something with long sleeves, a light jacket or even a sweater.
